Bidding has ended, no CT rules to enforce here... Anyone else think this seller's wording somehow negatively affects the prices he's getting? He does this on other auctions. http://www.ebay.com/itm/GORGEOUS-18...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
I'm assuming that the seller is aware (or at least believes) that they have been improperly cleaned. So, I believe he is conducting himself admirably. I wouldn't be afraid of doing business with an honest man. Chris
I'm assuming he means UNC Detail, not Details, trying to describe raw UNC. In another auction, he's backing up the same title description with an item description of "EXCELLENT DETAIL & LUSTER". Do you really see his coin as a details grade?
In other auctions, he describes a coin as UNC or AU/UNC Detail and then goes on to mention CLEAN or WIPED. I don't know, I have a feeling he's describing raw coins as type of detail, but, you might be right.
I guess it could be construed either way. I've always been used to calling a problem coin "UNC Details" or "XF Details" because that is how NGC describes them. Chris
