I spent little time putting the submission together, I just grabbed 2 gold coins from my safe that looked unc. I'm fine with the grades, I just going to sell them

    Is everybody getting matched sets?

As usual, I'm still waiting - ANACS, secret Santa, EBay. ANACS site says my coins are scheduled to ship out Monday.

When did you send them? I mailed on the 8th and tracking shows it delivered on Sat 1/10. Got an email that they were received on Monday the 12th. Nothing since then and I don't already have an account to log in and check.

Oh...and they charged my CC for shipping on 1/15.

Just got an update online for my submission. Laughable at best. I submitted 2 1911 $2 1/2 Indians that I had already graded at NGC. Both graded AU58 there. I was hoping for one if not 2 weak D coins, so thought I would try again with ANACS. Neither came back D (darn), but one came back AU55, and the other AU55 details cleaned. Is ANACS tougher on these coins than NGC? I already posted another guess the grade with a ANACS vs NGC Indian, and most thought the anacs coin was nicer, but it was also graded lower. Interesting. I will be busting these out, for sure :)

Lately, In general I think Anacs is tougher than NGC and PCGS on most coins.

It just amazes me the lack of consistency with graders. I have not submitted many coins more than once, but I have NEVER had one grade exactly the same as it was before.

My submission was received by ANACS on 1/7 and I've just received notice with tracking and their grades assigned to the coins, that they are in route as of today, 1/23, due to arrive via FedEx on 1/27. Timing is right in step with the 15-day turn around, as advertised.

The pieces sent in were nothing too precious. I was just curious as to where bargain bin 90% commems still in the Mint capsules but devoid of OGP might net out in TPG grades. Pretty much what I expected, PF67-69, and probably dumped because they were not PR70s as estimated by the dealer who sold them near spot a few years on from when they were released.

The ANACS process and service experience has been acceptable in this first trial run for me. That's good because they are the only TPG who certifies Daniel Carr work and I have considered submitting those pieces I collect. I'm happy with how establishing this account with them and testing the process turned out.

Thanks for the update, Krispy. Based on your timeline, I have about 5 more (calendar) days to go.

Mine have been shipped, scheduled to arrive 1-27. I'll post pics when they get here and we can see what you think they grade before I post ANACS opinion.

Time to crack these babies back out, and keep them raw!

Do you disagree with the "cleaning" judgment?

Interesting, to be honest I'm not seeing the cleaning on the one.

Yes, I disagree with the cleaning, and so did NGC. I thought both had a shot at weak D, so submitted them twice. I will break them out again, but keep them raw this time.

Mine finally arrived, what grades would you give them? 2 quarter Eagles, 1 is PCGS for comparing -pics are AAB, ABB- trying to get luster so 2 sets of ANACS coin

Sadly, yes. I must have been blinded by the details because I didn't notice it until it came back.
