    Since the pilot escaped injury I imagine most of the cargo survived too.

    "crash" and "went down safely" do not really go together. Reporter needs to be a little more precise!

    It's Yahoo! news... they allow comments under the stories if you'd like to tell 'em. Maybe it was a robot generated story.

    Wow. A plane that size could have had two, maybe three boxes on board.

    I would expect this to be called a "freight plane" in Alaska, but not Kansas.

    I know they use them sometimes to fly in expedited orders where I used to work. The parts were usually worth far less than what it cost to ship them in, but you can't stop production.

    Kansas is a big state full of a lot of nowhere. Some destinations are remote and easy to reach by air rather than land, I'd suppose.
