It looks like it is heavily circulated with die deterioration.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

What the heck is a ripple coin?

That's a very late die state on a circulated coin. You are seeing die wear.

You never heard of a Ripple coin?
By definition a Ripple coin is a coin that after you drink a few bottles of "Ripple" brand and trade mark,
( cheap wine) the said coin can be what ever you think you see. To sell the said coin it helps that the buyer is also under the "Ripple effect" that way one is assured top dollar.

    If my words did glow,
    With the gold of sunshine,
    And my tunes, were played,
    On a harp unstrung,
    Would you hear my voice,
    Come through the music,
    Would you hold it near,
    As it were your own?

    It's a hand me down,
    The thoughts are broken,
    Perhaps there better, left unsung,
    I don't know, don't really care,
Let there be songs, to fill the air!

    Ripple in still water,
Where there is no pebble tossed,
    Nor wind to blow!

VERY common on Jefferson's Eddio. As above, late stage die deterioration.

Paddy, you'll have to forgive Jason. He's such a young lad.

Yeah! Ripple and Rum River Crooks.
