I picked this up from the local coin club meeting action last night. As it turns out I am one of the only world coin guys in the club and the only one with interest in this coin. It is a 1795 2 Reales minted in Peru. I am always interested in these 1, 2, 4, and 8 Reales even when they are pretty worn as long as they have nice original patina. Thanks and happy collecting!
Just got this one in the mail a couple of days ago. I don't collect these but I like big old copper and it caught my attention.
Here are a few new ones for me. A few silver coins and my first 2 Indian princely states coins. I think i identified them correctly. I am getting more interested in princely states coins. The first is a 1882 Haiti 10 centimes, second is a silver 1964 Timor 10 Escudos, it looks much better in hand since i took it out of the old 2x2 it was in. The next one is a 1952 Macao 5 Patacas, good sized coin at 15 grams, and 72% silver. Last are the Princely states coins, I think they are: Gwalior, vs 1958 or 1901, 1/2 pice, and Jaipur 1943 1 Anna. I got all of them for around $25, so i'm happy with them.
In keeping with my increased interest in Australian Silver Coins, and Koalas. This one is a Silver Proof with gold plating, and limited mintage of 5000. Seller's picture--mine to follow:
5 oz one also has a very low mintage also. Some are 1000 and the kilo ones are less than 500 most years. Australia mint has a lot of interesting coins.
Here are 2 new ones for me. The 1954 Czech 25 koruna is part silver, and the 1942 Mexican 50 centavos is a semi-key date that I think is way undervalued in Krause.
Here are three more new ones. The South African 50 cents is the size of a silver dollar and has a mintage of only 26,000. I can't believe it books for bullion value. I like the Mauritius coin because it's an early coin from an obscure place.
Father like son?? I to have old Top rolling machine circa 1940-50? Trademark has 1907 but the version is different type . My dad had
