    Only North American collectors seem to have any interest in trivial manufacturing problems, and then only on US coins.

    In Britain I have not bought or sold a slightly mis-stamped coin in 20 years. The last notable error was a 20p coin with the wrong reverse that was issued in small numbers, quite a major mistake.
