Here's a 1940 nickel with what looks like a D sticking out on the right edge of the building, instead of above the right edge where you'd typically find it. When I look through my 30x loupe, it stands above the surface. Can anyone confirm this, namely if it's already been reported? I can't find it in Ken Potter's book or the Red Book. Could it have been missed due to its location? Or, is it a die crack? Yet, it looks like a D! Thanks in advance!
I still say - anything over a 10X loupe will make people see million dollar errors when they are really nothing!!
It's always in the one the bank never gives me. Literally, they never give me the Brink ones anymore. I have better luck with those (ones with plastic wrappers).
