I agree with ksparrow. But "fattys" don't have upc codes on the front, the other day someone was calling an NGC coin a fatty when it wasn't.
Sorry, wrong. *some* generations of NGC Fatty holders didn't have barcodes for the Cert#, many do. Both of these are Fatties:
I think toned Washington's are hard...and it's the series I'm the most familiar with. I say MS-66 but would not be surprised at MS-67.
No it isn't. The term "no line fatty" or "soapbox" refers to the older generation holders that are noticeable thicker than subsequent generations. Moreover, they also lack a line/separator between the label and the rest of the slab.
If you use generic slab boxes, sometimes the coins fit tightly and will stick out to you without even looking at the front or back of the slab.
No, I don't have that many slabs. Not enough where I would need to start buying plastic boxes, for my plastic boxes. Some of my slabs are also just waiting to be given away as bonuses when I swap coins.
