Mine is just my first name, with my next two (out of SIX !) initials tagged on the end.

 

Mine's the name of a dinosaur I was particularly interested in when I first developed an interest in dinosaurs about 20 years ago. Have used (and still do) it as a screen name /nickname online almost everywhere I have an online presense (as well as this avatar).

 

Based on brain size it is considered to have been very intelligent. :thumb:

Easy for me. Back when every one had a handle for the CB radios I thought it was childish so I used my real name. Same here. Not the just, just the Carl.

 

like others, I did not see this thread when I first joined. I've used "FHDave" in a number of places, starting with an online game I used to play (Metal Knights). Depending on the forum, I've used different translations for the "FH" part. The city I live in developed its neighborhoods around ethnic groups, "FH" stands for "French Hill", where a lot of French Canadians settled in my city. I also play a lot of poker so the "FH" there stands for "Full House". I decided to use it here as "Franklin Halves" are one of my favorite coins to collect.

 

When I was in leadership school, we were split into groups and we had to write charcter traits on the board for each person in the other group. Well my name is Bevilacqua, and as they didn't have my name written down they improvised by writing the only two letters they could remember BQ, it just kind of stuck after that, and I added the coins to my nickname for my email address cause hey...

About 10 years ago I needed a name for my very first chat room. Everything I thought of, was picked. Sitting and thinking, my son, who at the time was 2, came up and asked me if he could have a twigs bar...thats what he called a twix chocolate bar. I thought good handle, tried it, was taken, added an extra 'g' and bingo! Been Twiggs ever since..lol

 

Cindy,that's a very nice story,considering that your son is probably a chocolateholic in the same way that I admit to being a Cokeholic.I don't know of anyone who doesn't like chocolate,which is actually very good for you.

Cindy,I sometimes have a chocolate drink,which is called Milo over here.I'm not sure if you can get it in Canada though.I know that you can get it in some other countries,apart from New Zealand.If I am not drinking Coke or another soft drink,I have a strong cup of tea with 3 teaspoons of sugar in it,especially the English Breakfast tea produced by Twining's.
