    I think the Pistrucci St. George is the all-time most beautiful coin design. The Canada coat-of-arms on the 1912-14 gold is a close second (along with the US "walking liberty" on the 50 cents).

    Could be a "4" under the 5--with the nose of the 4 showing to the left.
