I believe the Treasury owns all examples of these notes. 42,000 printed according to Red Book.

Great note! I'd seen the "4" on the left as a counter in an ABNCo Archive portfolio, but hadn't found an actual usage. Gorgeous! Four counter.jpg

Large size FRN's may not be as popular as some of the other types, but I love the reverse designs of these notes.

KSorbo, those are my favorite series. That 10 is a nice looking one.
But for today, I got a National Type 2 $10.

That's a nice looking National! I only own one of the types (the large size $5 Plain Back) but the others are high on my list.

Thanks, I've wanted to get a baby bond for some time and the fractional was too nice to pass up.

I'm trying to get a large and small National form every city my children lived or were born in. West Allis is a western suburb of Milwaukee Wisconsin. P1010070.JPG P1010089.JPG Their notes don't turn up very often. They were the only bank in this suburb when National's were issued. We lived here when my son was born. The last $20 auctioned was in November of 2011. I was outbid on that one. The highest grade I have seen on a twenty, was a VF grade, nothing in the Heritage Archives shows better. I graded this as a VF20, so it is in keeping with the rest of their $20 notes. I would have liked a XF, but I am not sure they exist.
