Quarter Error ???

While CRH I acquired several LOOMIS 2022P Nina Warren roles.
Found coins with cud on Washington's nose.
Also on other coins, on the obverse, the "TRUST" looks more like "RUST".
Comments welcome! If correct what should do?

That's a IDB - Interior Die Break (Chip)
Stick it into a 2x2 and save it.
Die Deterioration issue.

That is not a Cud.
A Cud involves the edge of the coin. It occurs when the edge of the Die breaks off.
These are Cuds..

 

RUST is because of a worn die.
Compacted grease gets stuck into the letter T and won't allow the word to be fully formed.
Nothing really major IMHO

Yup and I need to quit these cigs are gonna kill me.

 

At $10 a pack add up how much you spend on the cigs and that’s what you could be spending on coins. Hope you break the habit.

Wish it was that easy. I am in for a lifestyle change, as I feel that it would be the only way to stop for good. I will get it.

Best of luck my friend. I quit 52 years ago, when a pack went to 50¢. LOL Nasty habit and not easy to break. I went from a pack a day, Lucky Strikes, unfiltered, to Tiparillo cigars, and then sunflower seeds. Got me off of them finally.

 

They have gotten ridiculous in states that think they can tax you out of smoking. I smoke an all natural organic cig. The cheapest I can find them is 10.95 a pack. Thats a couple ounces of silver a week.

Where I live in Alabama the going price for a pack of Marlboro is around $5.58 with taxes added.

 

I have a couple 2022 quarters with the same chip and a few with the chip in the corner of the mouth

 

Where is the date on the quarter? Is the cud over it?

 

I have a buddy in the mid west that buys them for $3.38 a pack.
