Andy, save up all your nickels and buy the finest nicely toned graded Peace dollar you can afford, then get yourself a $100 note and place it on top of the nicely toned graded Peace dollar you chose... et voila! You now have a nicely toned graded Peace dollar under $100 dollars.

In all seriousness, regardless of the price you might eventually pay for one, I think you will enjoy the piece if you work towards it and pay what you learn to be in accord with what they are worth when you get one. You can do it!

Here's a couple I've sold this year. They're tough to find under $100. I think I'm all out.

Also because the ones that remained in my old manila flips remained white as day. The Morgans, however, exhibited a bit of colour......

You might watch what's being sold on Ebay. It would give you an idea of what it will cost for something you like.

Sorry Andy, I just sold the one I had for $60. A slabbed NGC MS66 with beautiful toning completely encompassing the nose of Miss Liberty. You missed it and the next one by just five minutes. :>)

Nope, like everyone said, finding a nice toned peace below $100 will be hard. gl Andy.

No. I think the buyer of the coin will be surprised when they get that coin in hand. The pictures are misleading, IMO. The reflections are covering surface problems. I think the toning can not be properly judged either.
