http://www.numismaticnews.net/article/collector-discovers-hot-lips-1964-d-roosevelt-dime I have bunch of these that were searched for the DDR. Time to take a closer look at the obverse. TC
"Hot Lips" and "Bugs Bunny" are taken already ... my first thought is it looks like a "hair lip" ... and, no, I'm not trying to make fun of a birth defect.
Maybe Two Face? I'm curious if the 1966 Kennedy DDO has a catchy name associated with it...since the doubling looks similar. Otherwise, I'm cool if they carry over the Hot Lips nickname.
Roosevelt is the question are folk look hard? I like them a lot have one I posted 1964- D two or three years ago. A mechanical double is my answer. Will the coins become one that would get add to CAC?
Very COOL find..I looked through my Roosie complete album, and found a 53-S and a 55-S with similar issues..the 53-S is off to Ken Potter for a look...could just be a clash line..he'll know in a jiffy. Will try to get pic up here..keeps giving me error message.
I posted 1964-D Roosevelt a few years back with double lips. I was told it was MMD Not Doubled Will CAC ever allow Roosevelt Dimes a Bean?? As there 1 of the most Overlooked coin USA has ever minted. Ca'bas?understand now???
Not really I was asking in general . Will Roosevelt Dime 1946 - 1964 become more of a subject. Hex a Gem Bu set isn't a big buy $150.00 at most until you get in to MS 67ft sets there still not a high dollar set.
