Just finished a bag of dimes that I picked up on Saturday. I'm pretty happy with the results:
    19 Wheats
    1998 WAM(My 44th)
1995 DDO #001 (My 5th...first in almost a year. Sorry for the crappy picture)

10 Wheat cents including a toned weakly made AU 1925 d (the 5 and the d are almost invisible)

Pics look fine to me. Are you using a USB microscope? If so, what brand is it and how much do they cost? Also, how do you like using it? Been thinking about getting one to help with coin roll searches for die varieties. Using a loupe wears my eyes out.

Au contrare... There are some transitional error coins out there wherein some leftover copper planchets at the mint from 1982 ended up being stuck with 1983 die sets a few months later. They are extremely valuable mint errors. All you need to do to find them is to buy yourself a small scale that can measure weights down to 1/100 of a gram. If your 1983 Lincoln weighs 2.5 grams it is common and made of zinc. If it weighs 3.05 grams you've just scored a coin that will send you and your family on a nice vacation.

Yeah it is a USB microscope. It's some cheap-o Chinese one I bought off amazon. I think it was like $15. I'm looking at the box right now and it doesn't have a name...it just says "Portable microscope for multi-purpose" lol. It works well though it doesn't have the easiest interface since some of it is in Chinese and bad English. I've managed to figure out how to get pictures at least :)

Quite true. When I was in elementary school in the early '70's the cashier in the school cafeteria used to save wheat cents, IHC's, Buffalos, War nickels, silver Mercs, Roosies, Barbers, SLQ's, Washington's, Benjamin's, and Kennedy's for the 3 or 4 kids, (me included), who were coin collectors. She gave us everything at face. It was a blast. I used to race the other kids to the line to try to get to the cashier before they did. It was not unusual to see coins from the teens, twenties, and thirties still in circulation back then. Of course, wheat pennies were the coins most often encountered and we saved every one of them religiously and disdained all Lincoln Memorial cents in those days.

Look on eBay the Bicentenials in circulated condition sell for 20+ a roll. I think its kind of silly, but profit to be made.
