Secret Santa 2014

I put my gift out of sight, and mostly out of mind.

The first year I participated, @mikenoodle was my Secret Santa and I had no idea. Still not sure I would have figured it out if I received the same gift this year.

Happy to see my recipient posted that he got his. Mines still under the tree being watched by the 13 year old, official present monitor. Only three more days!

 

I screwed up, never having done a secret santa before.
My identity is clearly on the package. Oh well.

Wiggam007 was very cool about this one. My parents already opened it so I had no choice lol. Here's what I got. I personally love the Medal! I tried researching the Medal but I couldn't find any information, and if anyone has any knowledge on it, inbox me. I'd love to learn about it. The nickel was made for the support of Canada during WWII. On reverse on the rim is morse code for "We Win When We Work Willingly" in Morse a Code which was pretty neat that they out that into the design. Makes me thing thy Standing Liberty Quarter on the obverse rim design could be something in Morse Code (just looked it up, and no). Thanks Wiggam007! Thankful to have 2 Secret Santas this year. 2 was enough too lol.

 

Still waiting on my package. The one I sent has been received so that is good.

 

I dropped the ball this year and haven't sent mine yet. It will be going out tomorrow. I will make sure it's extra special for the delay

 

Nice I like space themed stuff too, and your new medal reminds me of checking out the Houston space center as a kid. Love it.

 

Mine was on it too wouldn't be hard for them to figure out anyway. I don't care as long as their happy. Worst problem with disguising too much is it can get opened too early like mine. I get packages nearly every day due to my business. Even got a ups delivery today on Sunday!! Was surprised! More shop supplies I was counting on for tomorrow glad they came early

 

Santa always comes on Christmas Eve while we're at church. Watch out when the minister says Amen!

 

Tracking says my recipient should get his/hers tomorrow.
2,188 mile journey in 2 days. Not bad, USPS, not bad at all.

 

Received mine today. I have always wondered why people had such a hard time waiting...now I get it. I will keep myself distracted for a couple more days though.

 

Happens every Sunday hereabouts. I always hang back and let the parking lot clear out so as not to contribute to the bedlam........

 

It's killing me not seeing my recipient post they got their package...thinking about that helps keep my mind off my present. I'm really excited to tear it open.

Just got mine in the mail fresh out of Canada.
LOVE IT. Low res pics below. I primarily collect American but until this morning all I had a few ratty beat up ancients. This beats all of them by a country mile.
