Secret Santa 2014

I received a package today that MIGHT be my SS delivery. Not sure at this time of year because there are a lot of online orders coming for other presents. I sent Kirk the return address of the sender to see if he could confirm that it's from my SS. That way I can TRY to not open it until Xmas... LOL!

I got my package today. It won't be opened till at least Christmas Eve. When you have a kid that's been begging to open his presents and he knows I have a present, there's no way I can open it early.
I'm mystified what it could be. It has some weight, almost a pound, but it's too small to be a book........... hmmmmmmmm

 

I got mine today. I had to open it being a kid in a coin store and all. it really made me laugh. it came with a very creative quilded note. the packaging case was for a 2005 proof silver eagle...inside 2 Belgium coins. where the plastic capsule was ...inside the capsule was a French stamp with a little note on the back of it saying "oh so close" lol it was a good laugh. thank you I enjoy it. do you need your 2005 proof eagle case back ? let me know, thanks, Craig.

 

USPS says somebody will be getting a package tomorrow. After reading these posts, I also need to apologize for not including a note; it's been a little hectic. I did take the time to wrap it (poorly, sorry again). Merry Christmas and I hope you like ...

 

I failed to put a note or card in mine either but I think our recipients will forgive us H8......

 

Mine came today, box is heavy too!! i don't know how long i can wait, i didn't send a card either wish i had, my first year, do better next.

Yep I know, I had to send mine out UPS today because I was sick for a few days and refused to put on pants. I'm not your Santa though @Bing, and I received your gift. I'm dying to tear into it. Your Santa is a great guy though, it will be there soon.

 

I got mine this afternoon. Luckily it was in two seperate wrapped gifts so I could appease the kid in me and open one of them. Three very cool foreign coins. I may be able to wait another......... 10 minutes now before opening the other one Pictures to follow.

 

I'm happy to report having received my Secret Santa delivery, and it appears it came a day early with the "expect to" date of the 19th! It is amazing how strong the urge is to want to open it up... but I'm holding out. It's in a small Priority Mail box and given a little shakey-shake, all I can hear is what sounds like soft and adequate packing jostling about inside. Thank you in advance, Santa!

 

This is my first year doing SS with you guys, I guess I didn't think it through. I failed to send a card or to gift wrap it. I hope you're not too disappointed in my thoughtlessness. But, remember, I do wish you a Merry Christmas with all my heart.

 

Mine I giftwrapped and then threw a little reading material in the box. So if you wanted to open it (the box) is safe. I always like to pass along any coin publications after I'm done to any one who would appreciate them

 

Are you kidding me, I'm glad you joined us and I'm sure I'm going to love it. Cards and gift wrap are just wasted trees.

Glad to see more great gifts coming in! On day two and a half of not tearing mine open...

 

I always assumed the secret was reveled at delivery. but it sounds like that might not always be the case.

Holding strong so far today not opening mine... it's under the tree. My wife helped a bit by hiding it near the back hoping I would forget about it... (grin)

 

Somebody will be surprised on Monday . It could be you... But probably not

 

I never figured out who my Santa was last year, though I have my suspicions.
