Secret Santa 2014

Haha everyone would wish. I'd go into hiding if I found one just to save it for the collector community lol. Noticed some people got gold in this Secret Santa. I'd jump into a frozen river just to get my hands on some good old gold. I will say though the foreign in pretty neat (also changed my view on interest in foreign) it made me thing that the U.S. isn't the only country with some nice designs. I only know that my Secret Santa is from Texas. I really like the Barbados dollar, due to my interest for polygon coins. Adds on to my foreign! I'd say he did above the requirement I will say. I'll be checking the 64's for varieties heh heh.

LoL well I already posted this in the ancients section thinking I was here. I'm gonna repeat it here so my Santa knows how much I appreciate the coin. This is only the second time in my life I've ever been given a silver eagle the first being from my father, God rest his soul. Thank you so much this is going into my sons silver eagle set. And to my receipient I'm sorry for the lack of a card that was lame of me.

Got my secret santa gifts today and like always, went ahead and opened them. I never wait till Christmas. Never seen this book before, so it'll be interesting to read up on. Big fan of Sac dollars, so I'm always glad to get another. Definitely dig the $5 note. Once again, another cool year!

I hope the person who gets my gift appreciates it as I had a hard time figuring what to get that particular person (I always research the recipient, trying to find something that appeals to him/her and this year, it was kind of hard).

 

Well I put my name on the one I sent to my partner. In my experience with "secret Santa" exchanges, the secrecy ends at delivery time.

I never did figure out who sent me the proof W Silver eagle last year and felt kind of bad about it, it was a very generous gift.
