    Hey everyone!
I have a good question about Doubled Die errors. What are the odds or chances of a coin of any denomination being a DDO and DDR at the same time? Has anyone seen one or own one. I would think that would be crazy odds of that happening. No ??
Feedback very welcome. Thanks all! :)

It's not happening. I've seen others ask but the various forums on CoinTalk are set in stone.

Why would you want a forum on that?..
It has nothing to do with coins ;)

Sal to answer your question yes there's quite a few coins that are both an ddo and ddr. A few Jefferson nickels I know of the dates excape my memory at present. I believe they are proof issues too.

Your page was the first I thought of after reading the OP's question. When I came across it last year, I bookmarked it. A fantastic piece of accumulating, well done.

Thank you! I do enjoy research! I am so old, I think the intellectual activity helps fight senility and dementia!

Absolutely, keep the brain active. Sadly, many people do not enjoy the research and learning as long as they have coins to obtain and look at.

In earlier years my research took me into genealogy, where I taught myself to read Old German Script so I could read 18th and 19th century church records.

Then, I discovered I lived on an ancient campground and found lithic and shell artifacts dating to 6,000 years ago. Ended up publishing a couple of papers on that, too!

Now numismatics have my attention! I never thought I would live to see my 9th Decade!
