I have 15 consecutive $20 star notes - starting from 06734454, all the way to 06734468. Condition is fresh and crisp out of the ATM machine. There is small, blurred ink mark on the bottom edge on each note however and I don't quite understand why that ink mark was there in the first place. Anyway, I'm just wondering if there is a premium for these notes at all. If there is, how much would I get for these 15 consecutive $20 star notes? Thanks

The blurred ink mark is right under the $20 denomination on the bottom left corner.
Ignore the bluish/magenta dots - those are from my dusty iPhone camera :)

From a full run of 3.2 million notes, with a total of 6.72 million printed for the district. So, pretty common as $20 stars go.

Between that and the ink marks, I suspect these would fetch little if any premium above face value.

(The ink mark is commonly found on notes from ATMs. The bank employee who fills the ATM uses these marks to make the cash in the ATM easier to count. Typically, when the ATM is loaded, each successive 100-note strap will be marked in a different location along its edge. Then later, in order to count how much cash is still in the ATM, they can just count 100 for each full strap, and only the last, partially-used strap needs to be counted note by note.)

3.2 million notes printed, just spend them on some silver :).

Thanks for an elaborated response - Numbers! Highly appreciated ;-)

But I'm gonna keep them in my collection. Maybe they will be cool items in 30 years - assuming I reach 60 and am still alive - hahaha just lol

I'm guessing that they are $20 star as there is a star after the serial. What does this indicate?

Thanks, Dougmeister dropped a link in to explain. Didn't know what the star was for.
