Nice pick up! Prussian? It's not only old and foreign and silver, it's from a country that no longer exists.

I'll give you $40 for it. Seriously, it sounds like you got a steal. Congrats.

Couldn't resist pulling the trigger on this 200+ year old coin for only $600. The coin is actually darker in hand than the sellers image -- so I tweaked the larger images below to match the in-hand look a bit better. Note that some of the scratches shown on the photos are on the slab plastic. I have to admit to always liking the 1804 date since it matches the date of the famous rare Silver Dollar.

Recent pick up. 1904 2.5 "Lib," resting comfortably in its PCGS OGH Holder. I was in love with this piece the moment I first laid eyes on her. While I apologize for not posting here on CT as much as I would like to (simply not enough time as of late), I am certainly happy to say that my "numismatic IQ," a term originally coined by me roughly 10 seconds ago, continues to go up. This is reflected in a myriad of different fashions, whether it be more esoteric in form such as knowledge of numismatic history and especially in selecting coins that are of the best quality with original surfaces and stunning eye appeal. Feel free to guess the grade if you like, Id be happy to respond back with the info.
