Put a new custom registry set together with just my CAC certified Lincoln cents http://coins.www.collectors-society.com/WCM/CoinCustomSetView.aspx?s=17102
Just upgraded from my PCGS MS66+RD CAC example too this NGC MS67RD CAC example. PCGS grades 24 in MS67RD with none higher, NGC grades 8 with none higher and CAC certifies 3 with none higher
Here's one of my favorites, apx. 400 have survived in all grades. Only 4 have graded MS60 or higher. Only 5 dates were minted in San Francisco, 1855,1856,1857,1860 and 1870. The 1870 will cost you. .
Nearly all my CAC rejects were Saints and ten Indians. At 65 and higher they are real strict. Marks that run across the rays mean an almost certain rejection. But hey, there isn't much risk in trying and the bid spread between 66 CAC and non CAC are worth the effort.
I sent the coins to CAC via The Lost Dutchman. He reviewed every coin so I'm hoping they agree with him on this one and the other coins.
I should have given you a heads up.. But the buyer wouldn't buy 2 Lincoln proofs unless he got to buy this Lincoln too. So.. I had to make a sacrifice And this is a 63 all day. It was much greener in hand.
