High Relief is getting higher

Well, I wanted to update my Peace Dollar set for some time now. I started today with this, It is better than than what I had, as shown in the first pic. I think I did OK, but the boss doesn't know yet, so keep it a secret.

That's the process I used when I got a Twenty Cent piece in change when I was a very young boy. I was supposed to come in with 25 cents change and the vendor shorted me 5 cents. 5 cents was a big deal back then. Mom said just put it in your coin collection.

Yes, if I would have bought this three years ago, the price would probably been $100 cheaper. The 100 year anniversary made these explode.

 

I made a run at one on eBay the other day.
It went for 3x what I was looking to spend at $305.
I was looking for a deal as this one had a slow start to the auction.
I have two already and I'm good with those, not like I'm cornering the market on raw 21's
