Thanks. Yes, I'm spending a bit more because basically I already have most of the cheap coins I want so there's really few options but to go a little higher.

Okay, so you guys (and gals?) are going to force me to buy some coins to keep this thread from fading into oblivion...,, Here's today's feature presentation. Probably cleaned much like the Papal States silver Scudo from the other day.
I picked up a couple Austrian 50 Shillings. I do collect some pre-WWI Austria coinage, but have not really looked into much later. LCS had a few of these. I liked the 1959 and 1968 most and thought I would share them. They are 34mm and 90% silver. 150 Year of Liberation of Tyrol 50 Years of Austrian Republic
I also picked up 1933 20 Francs from France. I really don't collect French but I'm also easily distracted. It is 35mm 68% silver.
I was so impressed by my 1 lira at hand that I had to go back for more. This coin is actually quite difficult to find in this condition. On another note I love the neoclassical image on the reverse. Most likely a combination of old Vittorio's love for Ancient Rome coupled with Mussolini's Fascist propaganda urging the Women of the Italian Empire to have more kids
i just got this for $5. I i bought it mainly for the silver, it is 27.77 grams of 72% silver and 20 grams asw. should i take it out of its packaging? will it eventually discolor more from the cardboard and the clear wrap on it that i think is pvc?
Show today, George V with a little dirt on his mustache A cleaned Caballito A rough Ceylon 1/48 Rixdollar for the animal lovers Plus a few more of course
I love the modern Mexican series. So many cool designs. I just received the 1951 20C today. I bought it to compliment my 1952 20C. By mintage records, the 1952 is the key-date... But for some reason the 1951 list for FAR more $$$ than the 1952, despite having nearly double the mintage. Anybody know why?
Just got this one as an unidentified coin. I identified it. Qarakhanid, AR Dirhem, Bukhara Mint, 403 AH (1013 AD) Kochnev 304.
