Ok, ok... Here are the 2 I actually bought based on the seller's pics. Looks like a genuine Obverse 2 and Obverse 4. The purchase is conditional on them being real. (pretty funny that he had those 2 fake ones as well, which makes me cautious about the other 2).
The woody may be real, but I don't know about that last one. He's selling fakes and you just bought 2 coins from him. I think someone likes gambling
He wasn't really selling the fakes. He told me about the sets and said 2 of them "didn't look right"... then he sent me the pics. This is the same guy I bought 4 real 1909 S VDB'S from a few weeks ago and they all graded with PCGS. If something is up, then I get my money back, no problem.
You know, you might be able to unload that second one to Bruce for a nice premium. It is a counterstamp after all.
