So i PM Matt the Lost Dutchman and he thought it would be ok to do our own, as long as we didn't exclude any one like Stevex6 . i think we should use the same rules as the Modern folks.( so go there and read there's). So lets first see how many would be interested in our own Secret Santa, which would be World and Ancient and anyone else with 100 or more posts. this is a fact finding mission, all those who would like to play, please post so we can get an idea.. also is anyone interested in running this ordeal..ideas or comments.. for any of those outside of the US would have to have some one willing to ship to you in order for you to play..
I feel I'll have to sit this one out too Again, I just have nothing good left to send... (Ill make an effort to locate something but I doubt I'll be successful)
I'm already signed-up in the CoinChat Secret Santa and I noticed that there are a few ancient folks already signed up there as well. IMO it is a good way to get some cross-pollination between collectors with different interests. Who knows, I might send an autographed error coin book to a YN or perhaps send an ancient coin to an error collector. I'll sit-out the ancient-only secret Santa this time.
Count me in, got 2 individual coins I can part with for 2 different people . But no international, sorry.
Properly described, advertised & with the AJ provenance it could see some aggressive bidding in the right auction. I asked God for an EID MAR but I know that God doesn't work that way so I stole one & asked God for forgiveness. OK, I'm through trying to be funny.
i'll play. if there aren't enough people, i'll jump in the general one as well...I don't mind either way.
We are at 8 peeps..if we can get to 10 to 12 total we can make it work. please go and read the rules on the coin chat on this forum, look up the secret Santa thread. lets go a couple more days, then we can draw names.
Sorry fellas, in out ... yah, I just can't imagine giving one of my babies away (I've become too attached to the lil' fellas) ... => "it's okay Rusty, Daddy still loves you ... ummm, just not as much as I love the rest of your brothers and sisters ... have fun in Florida, my lil' trooper"
