Toners Just Back From NGC

Got my little brown NGC box back in the mail today.

Inside was a neat little group of toners I sent in. I thought I'd share.

I would have gotten all AT's if I had sent them in.

 

Me too Frank, I have no luck with TPGs when I send in my coins, but when I send in other peoples coins, they score huge. That 58-D is smashing though.

Pretty sure you bought a few graders a steak dinner a while back during a show.

 

How did the bicentennial not get a star? That is unbelievable!

 

Some real beauties Matt , and I'm not that much into '50s coins . But I'd buy one of those . That Bi-centennial is so clean , amazing !!!!!

 

Yeah... Tell me about it. My perfect little pastel bulls-eye... I thought out of all the coins this one would definitely get the star.

 

Oh... I see... Only 2 stars in any grade. Darn market grading!

 

Those are beautiful.

Some of those, however, reinforce the idea that the Star is not reliable, and is sometimes applied to coins that may or may not deserve it. (OR - the pictures really aren't showing what the graders saw)
