    Hello BonnieSue,

    The coin has the appearance of having been in the ground or other environment for some time. It appears to have "post mint environmental damage". It is not an error coin IMHO.

    More pictures will do nothing to change the reality of this particular coin which has suffered some type of environmental damage and as such is worth 50 cents.

    Heck, its not even collectible. By that. I mean you could put it in a 2x2 and check back in 10 years and it would still be worth only 50 cents.
