lol, don't blame me! I couldn't make it so I had a dealer friend snap some pictures for me. I'm not going to complain. Still the closest I'll be to these coins.

Don't despair -- anybody can see other examples of these at the Smithsonian. :)

If I find time in the next couple of days, I'll post the pictures I took. The lighting was pretty challenging, though, and I doubt my photos were a lot better than these.

I'm a bit of a NASA nerd. The Smithsonian is on my bucket list. I had no idea coins were on display too!

Maybe it wasn't really a "Show" but a Fake Show?

Michigan State Numismatic Society hosted it so I'm not sure who's coins they were

Seen them before, not real impressed. (Saw them at the show this past weekend as well.)

Those two coins belong to the ANA museum.

The Walton specimen has been slabbed as a problem free PR 63 by PCGS. Donn Pearlman took a picture of it at the 2003 ANA convention when it was verified as the "missing" fifth specimen. Donn's photo was taken of the coin while it was out of the holder and the coin is SEVERELY hairlined. Doesn't matter though, the grading gods have declared it to be problem free.
