I am new to roll searching and I came upon this 2012 D. It looks to have doubling in the word Liberty. The E and the L are the strongest. There is also some in the I, B, and the R. In the second picture the D and the 0 has some.

I searched for web sites and did not see any for this date and mint mark.

Does any one have some information on this coin? Is it a double die? I would appreciate any info. Thanks.

The correct term is "doubled" die. The doubling occurs when the devices are transferred from the hub to the die. Your coin is not a true doubled die. It appears to be machine doubling which is also called mechanical doubling, strike doubling and sometimes ejection doubling. Basically, if it appears flat and shelf-like, it is not a true doubled die.
