Your dime is simply scratched up. The fact that scratches appear on top of "Mercury's" bust is all the evidence you need that this is the case.

I said; all those lines on the oberse of the Mercury ARE NOT SCRATCHES. These represent the normal expression of Adolph A weinman. coming from the Reverse of a 1/2 Dollar Liberty, and from the Reverse of a Peace Dollar. How that happen if 1925 1/2 dollar Liberty were Not made? "REMEMBER" This is AN ERROR. No things doing in the right way. I Cleaned the dime all ready very careful because I need to prove my self and all of you that. THOSE ARE NOT SCRATCHES.

Carlos I highly recommend that you educate yourself before making posts. This coin is clearly damaged nothing more. Mr. Diamond is a renowned error expert. He is able to dissect very complicated error coins from images on a regular basis. The opinion you got from him comes from many years studying errors, and coins like this which are just damaged.

That mean. The Blank planchet suffered a Pre-Strike damage; before the Mercury Dime was created. And that damage came from a 1/2 dollar liberty Die. And One Dollar Peace Die. Sorry Mike but I'm "100 %" sure about design lines used by Weinman.

That is incorrect... But since you are 100% sure, please explain how it happened.

Very simple; The blank planchet was strike first for an (Inverted) Reverse Peace Dollar. Then was Strike for an (normal position) Reverse walking Liberty 1/2 dollar. And after that THE MERCURY DIME WAS (DONE) STRIKE.
How that happened?... Drunk operator? trapped planchet? Testing material? I don't know. I don't work in there.
Between the I and B of LIBERTY there's some lettering but my lupe is not enough to define those characters.

Yeah... That's not possible. The strike of the dime would have obliterated nearly all traces of anything on the planchet before striking. Because these marks go over the design on the Mercury dime, this tells us that the dime design was struck prior to any of these marks. This can only mean damage.

Some body, can explain me why? The Scratches on the oberse are very, very, very, very deep. And the Reverse Doesn't show the SAME AMOUNT of damage.
That is the best probe: THE SHOT O SHOTS WERE DONE VERTICALL DOWN. PERPENDICULAR TO THE OBERSE'S FACE.

PLEASE check careful THE SKIN of the neck of the Eagle. And then check Under the neck of the Mercury. If this is not the same skin. Then my name IS NOT CARLOS. Ok.
