I've got a new 2015 1.25 Oz Canadian Silver Bison and I'm Giving it Away

    A week or two ago JM Bullion contacted me to tell me about the new one and a quarter ounce bullion coin that the Canadians have started minting. Seems that they're the "exclusive distributor" of the coin for the US. Dunno how that came about, but you can find more about it on their page right here. So, anyway, Rob from JM Bullion asks me if I'd like him to send me one. Sure! It would make a fun giveaway for the guys on CoinTalk. So, here it is, and I'm giving it away.

    And here are a couple of pics. It looks nicer in person, though I'm not especially fond of the queens portrait, kind of reminds me of the Churchill Crown at this point. ;)

    Well, I got the same response but chose to not subscribe. I simply asked for the price/value of a specific coin and date.

    If these "invitations" bother you then send Peter a PM and ask him to remove your name from the list of prospective recipients then go find some other coin forum to play in.

    As for Peters giveaway, that's a really cool looking coin and I've entered my email address. Thanks Peter! ThumbsUp.gif

    It's 25% thicker/heavier and has a 60% higher face value. If I had to guess, I'd say Canada is trying to raise their official value of silver.

    I got an email from Peter yesterday saying it was me. Pretty cool - I don't think I've ever won anything before (and I don't even remember entering to win this!)

    I don't have it yet, of course, but will post pictures on my blog and talk up Coin Talk there when I do.

    I'm sure I will be, but even if were ugly and scratched, it's a gift of an ounce and a quarter of silver - hard to find a reason to complain about that!
