Ummm I'm sorry ... but whenever one of you dudes posts a cool ancient coin book, I can't help myself => I've gotta post this sweet, signed, first edition of David Sear's Roman Coins and their Values => ooopps, sorry about the ol' sideways photos
=> ummm, just a couple ...... it's not not the amount of snow (it's the temperature that sucks => where we live, it snows when it gets mild)
Actually, that's funny! When I first started coin collecting I got a copy of this book, it was a GREAT book for beginners, with tons of useful information. The version I had was authored by Ron Guth. As I recall though, the information was largely directed at US coins. A small slice about ancients if memory serves me.
WE'RE NOT WORTHY!!! Of course I jest. Very cool that you have a personally signed piece of ancient numismatic history Steve. Thanks for posting that. Sear has the calligraphy and penmanship I would expect from a man of his stature, an icon in the field of ancient numismatics.
