Some people really don't like or admit it but ebay is without question the largest coin venue there is. They basically have more coins for sale then the next five largest venues combined. Like it or not ebay and coins are married. They could get a divorce in the future but they are strongly linked at this time.

Dont try and claim the high ground. JWitten answered the question, you just directed the OP back to the same places he left from with questions

Yeah, you haven't much grounds to stand on...
How is it with all of your infinite wisdom you couldnt perceive that he was chatting with us about a coin he would like to return?
I don't assume. Wisdom prevents you from that and what's more when asked he didn't proffer information on the listing so that we could check it to properly advise him of his return eligibility.

And that goes for most every other category as well.

I assume you have the power to make that happen somehow?

You didn't really help to solve the OPs problem. You come back after he found some resolution, wait a few days, and have nothing to do but troll others.

Why does it bother you so much what I do?

PS, This thread is only a few hours long, not days. I think you may be delusional since thats the second mistake youve made in this thread where you tell others of their own mistakes.

First mistake of yours was this:
when I was the second responder,

and this was your second mistake:
How could I have waited a few days on a thread only a mere hour or two old?

I think its easy for the rest of the members to see who came in here stirring up unnecessary trouble

When you talk about anything else on the anything else boards then that will matter. It doesn't matter if ebay was coins only or the largest seller of everything. This is a coin forum and ebay is the largest coin dealer by far. How much has ebay dominated the U.S. Coin market?

    http://www.coinworld.com/insights/specimen-70-kennedy-half-dollars-in-set-non-existent.html

In this article they talk about the new Kennedy halfs. All of the market references they make about value are said in the article to come from ebay.

Something to chew on. Regardless of other items sold ebay is a huge part of the U.S. coin market. Period.

FWIW, buying and selling on eBay are fair topics for this forum. Most of us have bought or sold coins on eBay, for better or worse. But, I think this topic has run its course, so I'm closing the thread.
