Guess ANACS grade and state YOUR opinion of grade.

How much did ANACS overinflate the grade of this 1930 Buffalo Nickel and what would you grade it?

Someone must not have understood the question(s)

 

I grade it F15, i dont know what anacs graded it, so how do i know how much its overgraded?

 

ANACS prob went XF-40 or somethinf

 

I would grade it VG8 and I would say ANACS gave it F12.

 

I think it is a VG10 and ANACS probably graded it 15. Guessing, but is this the blue ANACS?

 

ANACS told VF20,I say F 12.

 

No, this is the yellow label holder.

 

The yellow labels I have seen have all been pretty close.

 

anacs I would think vf20 with a real grade of vg10-f12

Yeah, I don't have a problem with them. It just seems like fun to debate the bottom grades for a change. The overall ANACS reputation seems to be one of higher than expected grades. I'm just going with the flow.

 

I'm amazed. Perhaps my grading criteria in looking at photos of grading examples is getting better.

 

I was using ANA 6th Edition and F-12 seems to hit it , so I think ANACS got it right with a 15 .

I would grade it VG8 or VG10. I have no clue what ANACS said, but I will guess F15.
