  1. Some light winter reading...and yes I am aware they are free online. I prefer holding the books.

Had to show this off, it's my 1915 Panama Pacific Int'l Expo half dollar, just arrived today. The toning is very nice, in other words, it's just what I expected. I wanted to get one b/c the US Mint is going to release new ones in 2015 and I'm still undecided about getting a 2015 but I've always wanted a 1915 just because. And here's my super rare "Try Corey's Ointment" quarter. I already showed it off on another thread but I know only a few members noticed it there so here it is again. ;)~Cheers! $_11157.JPG $_333357.JPG $_555557.JPG $PanPac_57.JPG $_5PanamaRev7.JPG

I'll be honest I've never paid a whole lot of attention to commemoratives but that panama pacific is one stunning design! Think I'm gonna have to get me one of those! Nice coin!!

Wow! Glad to hear qualified members here can appreciate my PPIE half dollar! The wife was like, "it's discolored what's wrong with it?" Typical wife response. :D

Here is another coin I have had for awhile. Actually had this exact type before several years ago but unloaded it in a trade to Forvm. Ended up getting this one dirt cheap and was surprised how much nicer it was in hand, even over my old example.

My pics of the newest to the collection--the Bust Type coin. Nice peripheral toning that doesn't show all that well on the photographs:

Love busties, but I cant get over the toning on the cheek, I find it unsightly.

There is no toning on the cheek. It's a reflection of the flash.

I wanted a 1999 ASE and was able to get this one for about what it would cost if it wasn't slabbed.
