I bought this as a slabbed PCGS PR64RB, and it took me 3 submissions to finally get a PR65RB grade. Honestly I think it's a BN, not a RB, and I like it more than a lot of PR66's I've seen, but who knows!
Another example of TPG color designation inconsistency (not to mention the coin being under graded). Should be 66BN!
Just received these 2 Lincolns for my 1959-Date NGC circulation issue registry set. NGC has graded approximately 417 examples of the mint state 1996 D Lincoln Memorial. 90 Examples have been graded at MS68RD with none being graded MS69RD. This is the only one graded MS68RD Proof Like with a population of 1 with none graded higher. Also received my NGC MS69RD 2014 Lincoln Shield cent with a population of 4 in MS69RD with none higher out of approximately 584 examples.
NGC MS69RD 2001 D Lincoln Memorial. NGC has graded approximately 180 examples with this lone example at MS69RD and none graded higher. Thanks Bob from robecsimages for the great photo
