I think the silver proofs surprised me as much as the clad proofs. There were clad proofs in EVERY roll. Sometimes 5 or 6 to a roll. Now I have to figure out what years they are and what to do with them. I know I saw at least three 1987-S clads. Most all are the cameo mirror finish, and all in good shape. I'm not yet up to speed on grading, but it looks like they were not in circulation prior to being dumped. Will try to post some pictures tonight.

My most recent sort (last Monday), was so lackluster I didn't post the results but I did pull out 40 2002, and 38 2005, and a few 2008-2012s and 6 proofs. If it wasn't for those in the last two boxes it would have been a disappointing Monday...now I need to decide what to do with all the NIFCs.

That is so amazing to me how many proofs you found, I'm sure you've started a new collection now - and almost completed a Kennedy proof set multiple times over!

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I'm still stunned! As a pretty new roll searcher, I did not expect to have this kind of find. I'm blessed to receive it and now have to decide what to do with it. We support several missionaries thru our church, so I'm thinking this particular batch may fund a need somewhere that I don't know about yet. At any rate, if you have ideas about how to sell them, please let me know. I'll post the disposition and the final gift after its decided. Peace, Ron

I've had many boxes that weren't as good as yours. We all continue the hunt in hopes of a good find, and I've not posted several boxes that were skunks because I thought it just wasted the forum's space reporting nothing. Thanks for the props. Ron

You should look into the older Slab for searching for Morgan Silver. Most of the time the Slab's wasn't looking for the varieties and you can find good stuff. The other ways to search for varieties are at your local coin shop or shows cause alot of sellers not into this kind of stuff or they don't have time to look for them.

$50 CWR Dimes - Skunk. About half the rolls were fire damaged coins - assuming from the same source as the fire damaged nickels I saw last week.

$16 BWR Nickels - Skunk. 1 roll was solid 2005-D and 2 were solid 2013-P.

    $44 CWR Nickels - 40-D (x2), 49, 52, 54-D, 55-D, 57-D (x2), 58-D (x2), 59-D, and a 43-S war nickel.

Of my $100 in cents this week, $50 were solid 2014-P. The other $50 gave me:
    18 wheats(including a 1928, 1935, and 1936s)
    5 canadians
1972-D DDO-001. I've been looking for this sucker forever!

I've found examples of most of the 72-P DDO's. Being on the East Coast has its advantages. :)

So why are there so much errors come out from the east coast ?

I mean like they keep making these errors then someone needs to be fired wouldn't you think.

I do half dollars, my best find was $250 in halves a bank had of all wrapped coins. When I picked them up all the rolls were deposited at the same time and had an account number crossed out. In my experience, this usually means someone dumped the coins at a bank after searching them. I usually search a few rolls when I get back to my car, but I was so sure they were all searched I just waited until I got home. The first roll I opened, totally expecting to find nothing, had about 2 coins that were not silver. Most of the other rolls were the same. I think there wasn't a single roll in the box that didn't have at least 2 silvers in there. In the end more than half of the coins were silver, mostly 40% though, but still a good find. My second biggest score was $80 in loose halves which had nearly half in silver, including a walking liberty.
