Walker ender today!!

Discussion in 'Coin Roll Hunting' started by Clad the Impaler, Nov 10, 2014.

  1. Picked up $150 in halves, plus 2 boxes of dimes today.

I ended up with a '66 40%er, and a nice '44d walker that was actually an ender!! A huge surprise, this is only the 4th one I've found in over 5 years of crh'ing.

Dime boxes yielded only a lone '64d Roosie.

Walker is in good condition, though the rolling machine did scratch it a little.

    Pics are below.

Congratulations! I called a couple of banks but they didn't have half dollars. I only take from what they have on hand, I never ask them to order any for me. I'll have to figure out a new way to get half dollar rolls I guess.

I have only ever found 3 Walkers, and they were in a CWR back in 2011.

Ask them to order some for you...After all, your bank-backed loans and non-interest-bearing accounts make them plenty of money.

    Wonderful find, Chad!

I've only found a few in BWRs and it's been a very long time since I've found one.

Good idea, thank you. I'm in the military, so none of the banks I visit are actually mine. I guess I'll have to open an account with one of them and try this. Perhaps I'll do that in my free time... whenever I can figure out where I put it.

I am former military as well...Thank you for your service.

I opened accounts at different banks and a credit union. I keep a minimum amount in the account to avoid service charges and order coin from all of them except where I deposit the coins back --that bank is solely used for re depositing the coin as there repository isn't shared between the other banks. I've had very good luck over the years.
