    Just trying to learn here....how is the reverse normal? I know some crazy things can happen to coins but man that is crazy how the reverse is intake.

    You mean "intact"?

    That's the nature of coins that have been "messed with". Figuring out how they were messed with or why they were messed with is just an exercise in futility.

    The best thing to know is what the minting process involves and how it could possibly go wrong.

    Thanks for the explanation, it reminds of the other nickel many months ago that was also damage now that I think about it.
