The Baltimore show provided me with five late Romans of which four are at least half decent. I just buy these because I am an addict and did not have them exactly.
Gallienus Eastern/Asian mint Aeternitati Avg with Sol

Postumus Iovi Victori - Yes it seems I am trying to get the set. I won't succeed but it seems like I have been buying his coins.

Constantine I 26mm! MARTI PATRI PROPVGNATORI of Trier PTR. The T in PATRI is defective but it is a T not a misspelling.
    rx4595bb3191.jpg
Decentius of Trier - I have trouble walking away from a decent Decentius.

Valentinian II AE2 SMHB VIRTVS EXERCITI - patina too thick - I should have left this one.

That is all but one of my Baltimore coins. I posted that other one on another board in the hope I would get an answer from a specialist who could help me understand it but repeat it below. Feel free to help if you are a Byzantine fan.

Constantine X 15.60g flan trimmed from a larger coin much thicker than usual for these. This issue is unusual since it came in the middle of the Anonymous Christ period but Constantine X put himself on this one as well as issuing two of the normal anonymous types. Comments appreciated on what is 'different' and why.

Those are all great coins Doug. Each has something good about it, but I really like Decentius.

Love the Gallienius, Valentinian II, & Constantine X. Interesting as it doesnt look like his typical overstruck mess.

Wow Doug ... that was kinda like a big flurry of wonderful explosions!! (kinda like the end of a fire-works show => big flashy finish, my friend)

I can't wait for your next show (bravo)

Next show is March. I may skip it as too soon. Tired.

Mat: Being cut down suggests the coin is overstruck on something but it shows nothing. I'll guess it weighs about twice yours. Odd at best.

Yeah, mine weighs 6.1g, a real lightweight compared to yours. Still yours is a wonderful piece.

I like each and every one of those coins! One of these days I'll get to the Baltimore show - it's closer to me than you after all. I just didn't have the funds this time around, and what's the use going to a show with no money?

Hopefully we won't get into fisticuffs over the same coins, like soon-to-be brides at a discount basement on Black Friday, but I can't guarantee anything.

I like the Postumus ant Doug.....and the others are very nice too....
    Decentius is very nice.
I have decided that LRB coins are to be my focus.....
But mainly Tetrarchy and later to about 400AD.
The reason is the affordability of as struck coins.....
I am consequently selling 10 Postumus double sestertius and about 30 of his ants soon.... I thought they may be with me for a while, but what i am seeing on offer on ebay recently from Europe has persuaded me to buy buy buy!!! and sell my 'not sure' coins.
I have always seen ebay slated on this and other sites and sometimes I can understand why, but only a fool ignores ebay......IMO
