do die crackes have any value???and is this one

    Die cracks add interest to a coin. They don't necessarily contribute to its' value. That said, where are you seeing the die crack on the above illustrated coin?

    Die cracks "usually" come from the rim inward. Yours, as was stated in another thread, is most likely a die chip.

    Generally speaking, if one has to ask "where is the crack?", it is not of enough significance to warrant any type of value bump.

    On the other end of the stick, a totally obliterated die surface can garner some serious premiums.

    In other words, die cracks have to be "In Your Face" in order to warrant a value bump.

    I could be wrong, but I expect the ridges along the Top of Abe's Hair which, IMO, are a part of the design for a well struck coin.

    Again, as stated in your other thread, they generally aren't worth anything beyond face value.

    don't waste your time on these type of errors, I did and believe I wasted too much time on this worthless type errors..

    The die cracks made me want to get it , but the value wasn't raised too much .

    Not true! Die cracks can start almost anywhere on a coin, especially in places where the edge of a device meets the field.
