Just got mine....not being able to see the reverse keeps me from loving the packaging....the coins though are very nice. Reverse proof gets my vote, especially when taking a look at the reverse. RP 2014 Kennedy.jpg

Just managed to pry mine open -- they came today, two sets in a box that was HEAVILY GLUED shut and nearly impossible to open. (Also, the postman didn't stop for a signature, despite Mint policy stating that ALL orders containing PMs are sent with signature required.)

I don't much like the packaging. I agree that it's kind of dumb to put them in a "presentation case" that completely hides the reverses, and it's a REAL pain to pry the capsules out.

I really like the look of the enhanced-uncirculated coins. The reverse proofs look like, well, reverse proofs -- "goofy", in my opinion. The Denver standard-uncirculated ones are really nice, too.

    Two quality issues so far:

    1) One of the reverse proofs appears to have some gunk on the chin and cheek.

    2) One of the enhanced-uncirculated ones has what appears to be hairlines in the reverse fields -- bold enough to be distracting when the light hits them from the correct angle. They don't appear to cross the devices, although it's a bit hard to be sure with the "alligator" frosting.

I'll try to get pictures, but it'll be a few days before I get to it.

I also noticed the same distracting hairlines in the fields of the Enhanced Unc, which I think you can see a little in these pics I took.

I think they are caused by the mechanical 'laser' etch processing of the of the dies. That technology seems to be a quality issues in various recent coin surfaces of the last few years which I feel is a step backwards. Still this K13 Enhanced Unc is my favorite of the four coins.

I think this enhanced uncirculated might worth over $100.00. While the other three should do well too. Since these coins except proof one were plentiful. But then the proof maximum detail price still worth more than $35.00. The kennedy silver half dollar low mintage years from 1992 to present are worth $35.00. And 2014 kennedy 50th anniversary mintage will be much lower than those kennedy silver half dollar dated from 1992 to present. Since mint products is selling this set at $179.99. I will estimate the maximum retail price for this set at $200.00

I'm a fan of the reverse proofs. Both were exquisite in the two sets that I bought. Hard to part with, but I daresay that I'm not going to accept an inferior Philly proof. Disappointing, as I know these fellows can do better.

I think they are all incredibly cool. The W mint reverse kind of speaks to me.

I was completely UNDERWHELMED at the set packaging. Looks like something from the '70's.

I voted for the Reverse Proof. I like them. The Enhanced, IMO, looks like proof with cloudy fields. I didn't like the ASE enhanced, but IMO, it's better than the Kennedy.

If I like the set, I was going to order another, but I'll be keeping my money. I'm going to keep the set, but I a bit disappointed.

Nothing on the two set I got. But when they mint so many so fast there's bound to be a few errors. The confounded black flocking from the velvet which adheres to the capsules continues to irritate me, especially when looking at such novelty coins under the loupe.

My set just came about a hour ago--was eating dinner, and didn't have much of a chance to study them with a loupe, but they look beautiful, in my opinion. I Love them all. :)
