Bank of America used to order me Ikes in $500 bags, but now they can't do that anymore for some reason.

Was a very good day for me today. First I go into my bank with my re rolled 1,100 in dimes and the branch manager says "you're not really bringing me a box of rolled dimes are you!? Let me show you something.. See this machine? It has 1 job. And one job only. To count your coins, so please promise me you won't waste any more of your time!" I thought he was being mean at first but he totally told me to just bring them and he will have them machined.

    3 boxes of dimes.
    Box 1 - skunk
    Box 2 - 1942 Mercury dime!

I've been so desperately wanting one!
Box 3 - my fiancé is going thru right now.

Also stopped by my workplace to pick up:

    $180 in MWR
    (1) 1964 Kennedy
    (1) 1967 Kennedy
    (2) 1969 Kennedy

    I'm so pleased.

Also was a gold colored half dollar in the rolls. It's a 1990 D but gold colored. Any info on that guys? Should I toss it back?

My workplace has $3,500 in halves. And they said they will only give them to me and not sell to the public, as it's not a public vault per say.

Will be cleaning them out very soon. Just gonna buy them all in one go when I can.

    Happy hunting!

My wife works at a bank so when I get done with my $50 worth of cents, I have her deposit the money in the coin machine at her branch, no charge at all. I have her do that, after the coin machine has been cleaned of the coins previously in there. I don't want to look at the same coins AGAIN! The coins that she removed, she buys with the cash from the coin machine. If I'm running low on coins, between clearing the coin machine, I go to a local branch and just pick up $25 in coins. When I'm done, I just put that money back into my account. I usually try to stick to $50. Thinking about upping the amount, so at one point I can purchase a few rolls of wheat cents or IHC and still get my $50 in coins.

Hoping one week that a costumer, desperately needing cash, drops a nice collection of coins in the machine. :greedy:

I know this story I'm about to tell isn't exactly CRH but it does fall in this category. A lady costumer at my wife's bank was looking for $50 in pennies. The thing about that, she was using them to GLUE to a WALL!! She specifically asked for old cents. This wall is displayed in her store at the mall I guess I'll be spending my Saturday staring at a wall with my loupe and a ladder!! It's not CRH, more so CWH! :banghead:

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Not done yet but I've already found my second 2009 Formative Years cent DDR, WDDR-030. It's in really nice condition too. I still have about $15 in coins to go.

1 box of halves from bank today was a skunk. First box ever too. Kinda disappointed.

Picked up $400 in halves from my work after I got off.
    (1) 1964 90%
    (1) 1966 90%
    (1) 1967 90%

Pretty stoked about that, makes me feel better from the box, and there are 3,500 left in the vault. :)

^ right! I don't know how I put that on accident. After working all day and then searching my mind must have been foggy to Mis print that. I'm well aware of the 40% ere thank you for correcting me so I can fix it^

For some reason the "edit" button is not showing and it seems I can't fix it. :/

I tried my hand at CWRs today. First bank only had $60 in quarters -skunk-, second bank only had $10 in halves -skunk- and as I was planning on opening to open up another bank account with a new bank in town a lady walked in and had a few thousand in rolled coins she was turning in. I told the teller I would take them once they were sold to her and she chuckled...I don't think she thought I was serious. Oh well. I will go by tomorrow and ask her for them again before they get shipped off.

Broke my skunk streak on my box of dimes today. Found 1 smoke tarnished, soot black, 1963. Also, yesterday, not a coin find, but got 2 1963 red seal $2s from the bank in a group of $20 worth. I love finding red seals for face!

Not a bad day of roll searching considering how "little" I actually scooped up in my rounds today:

    $10 CWR 50cents
    1 1968-D

    $124 BWR nickels
    1 1928 Buffer in VF
    1 1939
    4 40s
    1 Canada YH, 1963

    $35 BWR/CWR cents
1 1893 IHC, slightly bent and a good otherwise
    9 40s and 50s wheats
    2 68-74 S
1 Canada GVI, 1947 maple leaf
    6 Canada QEII YH
    1 Canada '67 centennial
    1 dime(in a CWR)

The IHC was the first I have found in 4-5 months, makes 10 found this year(I search through a lot of coins!)

    2nd week of halves:

    Box 1 - 1 64, 1 69d, 2 Proofs(85S, 02S), 1 Obama Sticker, 21 NIFC
Box 2 - No silver, 1986S Statue of Liberty Commemorative Half, and 1994S Proof, 3 NIFC
    Box 3 - Someone's dumps
    Box 4 - Someone's dumps

The last 2 boxes are the same writing from the searched stuff last week. I'm hoping that I am just working through the stuff that Loomis has and will eventually only get BWR.

$10 CWR nickels - 2 rolls of nothing but mixed 04/05s, 3 rolls of mostly 04/05 and the rest being nothing of interest. First time I've gotten someone's collection out of a roll... just wish it had been the buffaloes or wars instead.

    $4 BWR pennies - 2 wheats (1926, 1954), 126 coppers, 3 Canadian (inc 64, 66), 2 2009's, and a 1999 (p) with a badly off-centered reverse - lettering on the top was in the rim of the coin. Worth anything?

    $10 loose halves - all 70s/80s/early 90s commons

Haha no. It was actually done pretty well. The sticker wraps around Kennedy's head so it isn't covered. It's the first stickered half I've seen.
