Slabbed by NGC. Take a guess at the year of this silver Washington quarter, along with the mintmark and the grade.

I'm guessing a 54'.... The grade... I'm going to go with the MS62 because of the nicks and such on George's head/neck.

Are the die cracks on Washington's head any clue ?

Probably, for the real in-depth expert. For the purposes of this thread, just guess for fun. The purpose of this madness will be revealed in due time.

By the way, just FYI since you noticed, there is also a small die crack visible on the reverse through the letters US in PLURIBUS and part of the wing.

Yes. While I am certain of the actual mintmark and year, I really do not know the grade or value that should be assigned to this coin or slab. Where does this mistake end? Is it an MS 66, older slab and all?
