If it is all the same to you I'll release my criticism now. I don't like it. And unless I'm mistaken this forum is a place where we talk about coin issues. Don't worry I won't mount a media campaign against them but I think it is absolutely ridicules to see these labels get this far out of control. If people want to collect slabs then just leave the coins out and have fun.

Yes. Hats, T-Shirts, Banners, Mini Stanley Cups.

I understand people's objection to the label issue, I just think it would be cool to have one with my favorite pro team logo. Like I said earlier, I wouldn't pay too much of a premium for it.

Exactly. Which is why I said "try to hold" your criticism. (Until the public response can be evaluated.)

    Have you forgotten these?

People collect this stuff for memorabilia's sake and not necessarily for collecting potential. NGC is simply providing a product for a common "bullion" coin.

And remember, the World Series happens every year. These could be a hot ticket or, just another reason to stick some bullion away.

Wow I didn't know about presidential label silver bullion with no actual relationship to anything ase related. Thanks for showing me that I will now roundly criticize both that coin as well as the non baseball baseball labeled coin.

Seriously, this label thing is totally out of hand. Same grade gold Kennedys sell for double with the ngc Chicago label???

I understand collecting coins. I even understand people collecting examples of different slabs collecting the slab not the coin. But actually valuing a coin differently because of a non grade/attribution label is just a really bad joke, a joke which is currently being played on the holders of said coins. This joke will have an end and a punch line just like any other joke, except the punch line will literally be in the gut for anyone "investing" in non grade labels (from hereafter to be known as ngl, so I decree).

Just because the public likes or doesn't like anything doesn't mean I can have to wait to criticize it. Beenie babies were really popular and had a great public response. They also did well, huh?

I'm chatting on a coin forum were all we do is chit chat about coins. So I'm choosing to both chit chat about ridicules ngl's and further not wait for the public to judge them.
