About 7 years ago when I really got back into my Lincoln small cent collection I started adding some of the better known doubled die varieties available. The 69 S doubled die obverse is one I am not sure if I will ever be able too add. There is one up for auction at Stacks & Bowers and currently out of my reach. That being said I have been able too pick up some top graded examples of doubled die Lincoln cents out there. I of course know that so many others exist so I am always looking too add to this set. In the meantime click on the link and you can see the 7 coins in this set. This is just one example my NGC MS68RD 1983 Doubled Die Reverse. http://coins.www.collectors-society.com/WCM/CoinCustomSetView.aspx?s=15326. I hope you enjoy my coins and just think about how much 7 cents can be worth.. Thanks too robecsimages for the great photos [IMG]

Love it! I've been looking for that one for awhile. Hopefully it'll show up in one of my boxes some day.

Grammar police derail another thread? Nice set @gijoe76 , even if they are all Lincolns. :p

Nice set you got going there.
Yes, that '69s is a monster in the top pop. There are a couple other early Lincolns that fetch a good price too. The '17 and '36 DDO's are two of the better ones.

So if the 69-S DDO is the ONE you may not get, I would love two see that 1958 when you get it. Are you after the 64 or the 65?

Seriously, nice coins - way beyond my means.

Aren't there only 3 1958 DDO's known? I'm not sure, but one of those may be a regrade and listed twice.

There is a 69 S DDO up for auction at Stacks & Bowers right now in PCGS MS62RB and the reserve is $43,000.
