I respectfully disagree with you on your toning comment. I've seen more questionably toned coins in PCGS holders than NGC. NGC is much more difficult on toning.
Great looking SLQ Sy! I'm in the market for same date for my type set. How's the luster on the coin? Less than brilliant luster probably kept that from grading higher.
I was referring to" Ngc Full Head detail " mainly Pcgs will change that to often on a 1916-1917 type 1 Standing Liberty Quarter. Pcgs full head requirement is a bit different from Ngc requirement. Toning a whole other subject with both Tpg.
I have had descent luck with NTC graded coins. Not that they are accurately graded, but that I can get a fair coin cheaply. I am not sure I can edited about this one or not. Obviously AT, but I only paid AU prices for it.
I picked up an NTC graded Lincoln in March. They had it graded 66RB, although it should have been BN. Great price and a beautiful coin. I wouldn't be afraid to pick up another one.
Recent purchase I hadn't photoed and posted new phone is better tho I will always take crappy pics regardless of the camera
