Sorry, I should have chosen my words carefully enough that, when taken literally, they would not imply that I was writing of coins other than the 7 offered today (10/17/2014).

Wow, and bad fakes at that. Looking back at his feedback, he has seriously ripped a LOT of people off

Just for giggles, I sent him this message.. "Where are you finding all these fake coins to sell? Are you worried about the secret service arresting you? You should be. I think there have been buyers building evidence against you."

I understood... but after wading through a fair number of his oh-so-similar past sales, I just couldn't help myself. ;)

Pretty lousy fakes too , but probably good enough to fool the newbies .

For me there is a second problem as bad as his fakes.
eBay no longer gives you a way to report them.

How about assuming he has no idea they're fake and informing him about it? Why talk about fake coins and ripping off people?

I hear you, but looking at his feedback it looks like he was doing the whole "unsearched rolls with coins showing on the ends" scam oh so common on Ebay. Given that, I do not think its unfair he knows these are fakes. Heck, he probably bought them from Alibaba himself in bulk. Its not like he is selling ONE fake he got stuck with and doesn't know better, he is listing quantity.

Like the poster above me... there is no way you sell this many fake coins without knowing. If he had a few mixed in with real ones, then maybe, but that is pretty much ALL he sells.

Because when viewed as a whole, it's obvious.

Well........for onsies, he's offering 2 fake 21-D's that were obviously produced by the same Chinese die.

I informed the seller when I first saw the coins, and he / she has not answered me.

As the seller wouldn't you be shocked, and at least ask me how I could tell, rather than simply ignoring my message?

I can't believe his feedback is as good as it is with all those obvious fake coins. He should have hundreds of negatives, but I guess people don't realize they are being ripped off. Seems so obvious to me.

I feel ashamed to ask, but... How can you tell they are fake? :(

I completed the report form for Copyright and Trademark / Counterfeit item or authenticity disclaimer / Counterfeit, fake, or replica items, stating that, "eBay is embarrassing itself by ignoring this situation . . ."

I'm going to do exactly the same for all of his other fake items as well.

Perhaps if a number of different users all bombard eBay with the same type of reports they just might take more notice than when they get a single report on a single item.

Will anyone else join me in this crusade?
