    better photos in better lighting would help. I'm guessing rim ding. There are striations in the damaged surface consistent with the coin being scraped. If this was a die break, the irregular surface would be smooth.

    There is no ding. Held to a perfect coin there's no difference. The reefing is perfect. Just a weird break on the o on verse but it's perfectly smooth.

    Ahhhh. Reefing! It all makes sense now..................let me go check my "reefer" book!

    Yes! there it is.........................the book says it looks like a disk clip but clearer photographs are going to be reeded.

    I mean........needed!
